Bitrix24 vs other CRMs — comparison for the Moldovan market
Published:
Choosing a CRM is a strategic decision. The global market offers hundreds of options, but for a Moldovan company, not all are equally suitable. Interface language, pricing relative to local salaries, accessible technical support, and relevant features — everything matters.
In this article, we compare Bitrix24 with three popular alternatives — Salesforce, HubSpot, and Zoho CRM — through the lens of real needs of Moldovan companies.
Comparison criteria
We selected 7 criteria relevant to the Moldovan market:
- Price — affordability for local budgets
- Free plan — ability to start without investment
- Interface language — Romanian and Russian, essential in Moldova
- All-in-one features — CRM + communication + tasks + documents
- Integration with local channels — telephony, messaging, social media
- Local technical support — assistance in your language, in your timezone
- Ease of implementation — how long until it actually works
Bitrix24: the all-in-one platform
Bitrix24 is built as a complete ecosystem: CRM, tasks, internal communication, video conferencing, document management, process automation — everything in one platform. For a Moldovan company, this means one subscription instead of 4-5 separate tools.
Strengths for Moldova:
- Full interface in Romanian and Russian
- Free plan with an unlimited number of users and basic CRM, tasks and chat — the limits are on features, not on headcount
- Paid plans are billed per company rather than per user, with a number of users included in each plan
- Integrated telephony compatible with Moldovan operators
- Local support through the Bsmart team in Chisinau
- Implementation in 2-7 weeks depending on the package — the timeline is published on our pricing page, not estimated here
Salesforce: the enterprise giant
Salesforce is the global CRM leader, but it was designed for large corporations. For an average Moldovan company, it comes with significant challenges.
Advantages:
- Most advanced reporting and analytics system
- Massive integration ecosystem (AppExchange)
- Practically unlimited scalability
Disadvantages for Moldova:
- No Romanian interface — only English and other major languages (partial Russian)
- High pricing: from $25/user/month (Essentials) up to $300/user/month — a team of 10 costs minimum $250/month
- No free plan for businesses (only a 30-day trial)
- Excessive complexity — requires months of implementation and a dedicated administrator
- No local support — the nearest Salesforce office is hundreds of kilometers away, support is in English
- Communication and task features available only as paid add-ons
HubSpot CRM: powerful but expensive at scale
HubSpot offers a generous free CRM and is popular for marketing and sales. However, the pricing model becomes problematic as you grow.
Advantages:
- Free CRM with unlimited contacts
- Excellent for inbound marketing and email marketing
- Intuitive interface, easy to learn
- Good integrations with marketing tools
Disadvantages for Moldova:
- No Romanian interface — only English, Spanish, French, German, etc.
- Limited Russian — translation doesn't cover all features
- Per-seat licensing — the free plan is capped at 2 users, and moving to advanced features is charged for each person
- Free features are significantly limited (5 email templates, 1 pipeline, etc.)
- No tasks, internal communication, or document management — you need additional tools
- No local support — online forums or paid premium support
Zoho CRM: good on price, weak on ecosystem
Zoho is often recommended as an "affordable alternative." It has competitive pricing but comes with trade-offs.
Advantages:
- Affordable pricing: from €14/user/month
- Free plan for 3 users
- Wide product suite (Zoho One — 45+ apps)
- Good automation features
Disadvantages for Moldova:
- No Romanian interface — Russian interface exists but translation quality varies
- Weak integration with local channels — Moldovan telephony requires complex configuration
- Zoho products work well individually, but integration between them isn't seamless — the CRM account doesn't auto-sync with Zoho Projects
- No local support — the nearest office is in India or the Netherlands
- Interface feels visually dated compared to competitors
- All-in-one features require Zoho One (€37/user/month) — not so cheap anymore
Comparison table: what actually differs structurally
Correction note (August 2026): we had a table of exact prices for all four vendors here, along with claims such as "16 times more expensive than Bitrix24" and implementation times of 2-6 months. The prices were undated and some were simply wrong — the Bitrix24 free plan, for instance, is not capped at 5 users but has unlimited users (the 5 belongs to the paid Basic plan). Vendor prices change often and are shown in each region's currency, so a price table ages within months. We replaced it with the structural differences, which change rarely.
- Licensing model: Bitrix24 — per company, with users included | Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho — per user
- Free plan: Bitrix24 — yes, unlimited users, limited features | HubSpot — yes, up to 2 users | Zoho CRM — yes, up to 3 users | Salesforce — no, trial only
- Romanian interface: Bitrix24 — yes | HubSpot — multilingual interface, but no Romanian | Salesforce, Zoho — check directly with the vendor
- All-in-one coverage: Bitrix24 — CRM, tasks, communication and documents in one platform | Salesforce and HubSpot — separate modules | Zoho — requires the Zoho One suite
- Local partner in Moldova: Bitrix24 — yes, through partners such as Bsmart | the other three — no local presence known to us
Checked on 4 August 2026 against the vendors' own pricing pages: Bitrix24, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Salesforce. We publish no exact amounts because they vary by region and billing period — check them at the source before deciding.
When is something other than Bitrix24 worth it?
Every CRM has its place. Here are situations where alternatives may be more suitable:
- Salesforce — if you're a corporation with 200+ employees, a dedicated IT budget, and extremely complex sales processes
- HubSpot — if your primary focus is inbound marketing and you have the budget for premium plans
- Zoho — if you already use other Zoho products and have an internal tech team for configuration
But for the most common profile in Moldova — SMBs with 3-50 employees, limited budgets, bilingual teams and a need for a complete solution — Bitrix24 remains, in our experience, the best value for the functionality. We put no percentage on that: we have no statistic of the Moldovan market to support one.
The decisive factor: local support
A CRM is only as good as its implementation. You can have the most advanced software in the world, but if it's not configured correctly, it won't work. And this is where the critical difference lies: local support.
With Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho, if you have a problem, you open a ticket in English and wait. With Bitrix24 through Bsmart, you call someone in Chisinau who speaks your language, knows the market, and can come to your office if needed.
This difference directly translates to:
- Implementation time — a basic configuration starts quickly, without a long integration project
- Adoption rate — training in Romanian/Russian, not English tutorials
- Problem resolution — hours, not days or weeks
- Customization — configured for your specifics, not a generic solution
Conclusion: the best CRM is the one that works
There's no universally "perfect" CRM. There's the right CRM for your specific situation. But if you're a Moldovan company looking for an affordable, complete system in your language with local support — Bitrix24 implemented by Bsmart is the most practical choice.
